Who?
My name is Martin Heidegger and I am from austria. I work for Hobnox in germany as Senior Flash Programmer where my focus is put on data services and web tv content. I work with flash for 7 years now and JavaScript as professional for around 4 years. Some years ago I started with Simon Wacker the as2lib which became obsolete with AS3 and therefore put to rest in peace.
What is “Leichtgewicht”?
“Leichtgewicht“ is german for “light weight”. In programming it stands for programs that don’t create or require lots of dependencies, consume few computer resources and are easy to handle so they perform best for the task they are built for. I choose this word for my first company which I closed after joining Hobnox, but the idea stays my personal aim.
